You might try dell.com to see if they have any utility to see the hardware
under linux.....

Thanks everyone. That clears it up. Since I am using hardware raid, I can't
monitor it from the GUI/Active Monitor. I'm off to look for hardware raid
monitoring solutions. Don't suppose anyone knows of a solution off-hand that
will work?
