I'm pretty sure I set domain.com as an alias if that's what you mean -=0A=
thinking about it, perhaps I should not have. I can't check the server at=
=0A=
the moment but it's worth a shot.=0A=

Use user (at mark) mail.domain.com instead. Do you have an email alias setup on the=
=0A=
web server form domain.com?=20=0A=

Hi all,=0A=
=0A=
I have a domain with DNS set up as follows:=0A=
=0A=
    domain.com A <http://11.22.33.44> MailScanner warning: numerical links=
=0A=
are often malicious: 11.22.33.44=0A=
    www.domain.com A <http://11.22.33.44> MailScanner warning: numerical=

links are often malicious: 11.22.33.44=0A=
    mail.domain.dom <http://55.66.77.88> MailScanner warning: numerical=0A=
links are often malicious: 55.66.77.88=0A=
    domain.com MX mail.domain.com=0A=
=0A=
Email from the Internet gets redirected to the client's IP (=0A=
<http://55.66.77.88> MailScanner warning: numerical links are often=0A=
malicious: 55.66.77.88,=0A=
above) without problems, but Apache-=0A=
generated email (using php's mail() function) results in a bounce being=0A=
sent to the admin email account like this:=0A=
=0A=
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----=20=0A=
    user (at mark) domain.com=0A=
    (reason: 553 5.3.0 <user (at mark) domain.com>... No such user here)=0A=
(expanded from: user (at mark) domain.com)=0A=
=0A=
----- Transcript of session follows -----=0A=
    ... while talking to [ <http://127.0.0.1> MailScanner warning: numerical=
=0A=

    >>> DATA=0A=
    <<< 553 5.3.0 < user (at mark) domain.com <mailto:user (at mark) domain.com> >... No such=

user here=0A=
    550 5.1.1 user (at mark) domain.com... User unknown=0A=
    <<< 503 5.0.0 Need RCPT (recipient)=0A=
=0A=
From the above, it appears apache is trying to find the user at localhost=
=20=0A=
rather than the client's IP. Does anybody=0A=
know how to fix this or what the problem could be?=0A=
