Steve,

I installed the Open Source version of Zimbra because the pro one was too expensive for me to resell it as an ISP. They seem to have the "enterprise" mentality not the "ISP" mentality.

This is also a complaint I have about the control panel. It is more geared for enterprises not ISP's. This means you can't have a client login to his domain and add users without seeing the other domains on the server. You will have to manage the users for all domains. They might fix this in the future. We'll see.

I installed CentOS from the ISO CD's and then downloaded Zimbra and installed it.

Zimbra wants to live on its own server, so I would NOT recommend trying BQ and Zimbra on the same box. Zimbra installs Tomcat and controls mailboxes and attachments its own way.

Herb

Arthur,

There is an open-source version and two subscription versions of Zimbra. I am interested
in the Pro Subscription. (Herb, i neglected to tell the list this)

Herb: Which version and platform version did you install?

Steve
