Dennis,

  First thing is to identify why IE is giving the error.  Site does not match 
certificate, certificate expired, etc, etc.

  Then you can do one of two things - install a certificate for the individual 
site if it is the site match problem, or update the cert if it is expired.

  Even with IE, they have an option to "accept this certificate".  By 
cancelling they are forcing it to error each and every time they go there.  
Once the certificate is accepted, the error should go away (depending upon 
above comments about what the error actually is)...
