No-one answered this one, so another Q....
My machine BAcks up to another on the local Lan overnight. However,
whenever i try to manually check inside the files on my windows box
using Winrar (deals with .tar.gz files)it keeps telling me on each one
that the archive is corrupt.
It used to say this on my old Cobalt as well, and at the time i thought
there was a problem on that box when creating the files.
Please could someone tell me:
1. does this actually mean the files are corrupt, or is it just Winrar
2. is there any way of creating a cmu backup which is uncompressed (
just Tarred not gunzipped)
Is there any way of verifying the backup without haveing to re-install
it again basically...
Thanks
Paul
